I was just thinking the other day whether or not it is worth paying money to create an acting resume in the Internet Movie Database site. The basic package is under $3/month with the premium package being a double digit range.
Some of the benefits it mentions are that you can view more details such as agency information as well as other details to help you network with other industry professionals. At this point, I don’t think that it would benefit me too much and I personally never heard of an actor that benefited directly from being listed on it.
Maybe in the future when I get the opportunity to work on a big production, but at this point I can’t see the benefit from a financial point of view.
